Iroko (Gbadewolu 1).

According to Chief Dare Oyegbola the title of SOBALOJU of Ìrókò Land was first held by his late dad and the Sobaloju's role is to help the King in identifying developmental opportunities and attracting same to the community, this role also confers on the holder the responsibility to constantly ensure that the interest of the King and community is well protected while ensuring that the community and it's people are well cared for.

This will be launched in 1st quarter 2022 and managed by a board that will be selected from the community and other well meaning individuals from outside the community. There is an urgent need to grow local commerce within the community and this will be a priority as it will help to curb youth restiveness, motivate young people to go into trade and businesses with capital support and mentorship.

Hon. Lanre Oyegbola a chieftain of the APC and elder brother of Chief Sobaloju informed everyone present that the family considers this an appreciation of the good works of their late father Chief Olorunlogbon Olabode Oyegbola and assured members of the community that the new Sobaloju will even do more.
