Enjoy NXT, SmackDown and Raw Action This Week on DStv ~Omonaijablog

Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action on SuperSport, with live airings of the NXT, SmackDown and Raw shows running from Thursday 8 to Tuesday 13 October 2020.

The action begins on the morning of Thursday 8 October with WWE NXT Episode 585. The simmering rivalry between Kushida and The Velveteen Dream will once again take centre stage in the NXT universe.

“Now I like to say, ‘It’s time to demonstrate the real me’. I haven’t seen an opportunity come by yet, I haven’t seen a chance of a title shot,” explained Kushida. “Injuries have set me back, which has made me impatient. The time has come to gear up and go ballistic, everything has its meaning.

“Velveteen Dream, you are going to be my stepping-stone, I am going to dance into the centre of NXT! The new Kushida is vicious!”

Saturday 10 October brings Episode 1103 of WWE SmackDown, which is set to be headlined by a clash for the SmackDown Women’s Championship between Bayley and Sasha Banks – best friends turned enemies!

Roman  and Jay Uso

“When it comes down to you and me, and there’s nobody there to save you, you don’t stand a chance,” said Banks, who is still recovering from a neck injury inflicted by Bayley last month.

SmackDown will also feature the continuing family feud between cousins Roman Reigns and Jey Uso, with the pair set to meet at the next pay-per-view event, ‘Hell in a Cell’ for another WWE Universal Championship match.

Tuesday 13 October will feature Episode 1429 of WWE Raw. One of the most sinister story lines is the continuing attacks from Randy Orton, who ambushed Big Show, Ric Flair, Christian and Shawn Michaels in a previous edition of Raw.

“There is a price to be paid when you cross ‘The Legend Killer’,” said Orton, who added that he will not be done with Drew McIntyre until he claims the WWE Championship from the ‘Scottish Psychopath’.

No rival can compete with SuperSport's  coverage. Our viewers on DStv have found their #HomeOfSport.
