Lavish Birthday In Covid-19 Lockdown: All You Need To Know About Funke Akindele's Fate ~ Omonaijablog

Following the arrest of Funke Akindele Bello, aka Jenifa, over her disobedience to government's law on social distancing against covid-19 pandemic, findings has revealed that she might be spending more than 24 hours in police custody.
According to the new law enacted by Lagos State Government, Police have been given the power to arrest and detain defaulters of social spacing against coronavirus for 48hours without warrant.

The offense which is also punishable by law attracts one month jail term or three months community service or a fine of one hundred thousand naira (N100,000).

Funke akindele whose husband, Naira Marley and other friends and celebrities might be declared wanted any moment from now if they failed to report to the nearest police station, threw a lavish birthday party for her husband at her Amen Estate house over the weekend in what is seen as a serious threat to the war against coronavirus that has so far claimed five lives in Nigeria with over 200 persons still being treated.

Before her arrest, NCDC has allegedly sacked her from being their Ambassador and her COVID-19 promo video removed from their website.

Funke was said to have allowed one of her colleague, an actress, Eniola Badmus, who was said to have just got in from the UK, and hadn't observed the mandatory 14 days self-isolation to pay her a visit.

Then yesterday, she threw a surprise birthday party for her husband with other celebrities in attendance hooting and howling on top of their voices inside her Ibeju-lekki, Amen Estate mansion.
