Oba Oniru Succession: Hakeem Ajasa, Aremo Adesegun Oniru Signs Peace Accord





As the battle to succeed the late oniru,  Oba Idowu Abiodun oniru rages on, Hakeem Ajasa, the Chief Security Officer of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila and Aremo Adesegun Oniru, former Lagos State Commissioner for Waterfront and Infrastructural Development, have signed a peace accord.



Briefing newsmen today at Alausa Lagos, the spokesman of the Board of Trustees for the Abisogun ruling house, Mr Cornelius Kashimawo Bello, said "The two gentlemen have signed a peace agreement to allow peace to reign in Ireland. The agreement was signed at the LAGOS state police headquarters, in Lagos."

The ruling house among many of their demands from the Lagos State Government is, to give them and the entire people of oniru their due mandate. 
Mr. Kashimawo said,  "We are not ready to fight, we are only pleading that the government should know that we are for peace. Our only candidate is Prince Ajasa. He is our Oba elect. We have written all agencies concerned to give us our right and give us the declaration we are waiting for. 
He said, "We are confident that the state authority will not be biased in their judgement. Knowing fully well that the law is greater than any individual."

Since the late Oba Idowu Abiodun Oniru passed on in September, 2019, there has been succession problem in the kingdom.
