'The Last Good Man': Nollywood Stars, Directors, Producers Invade Benin City ... All Hotels Fully Booked



Top Nollywood stars, directors, producers,  comedians and a host of other notable entertainers have invaded the ancient town of Benin City for the final burial ceremony of the late father of Africa’s most consistent film maker, Sir Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, Chief Godwin Enabunlele Enotiemwenowan Imasuen the Ohen Okhuosa of Uruokhsa.



A check by Omonaijablog publisher who is also presently in Benin City showed that all notable hotels in town have been booked for this mother of all burial.


Also sending in their powerful delegates to show solidarity with one of this African greatest filmmaker are, Association of Movie Producers, National Film and Video Censors Board, Igbinedion University and Benson Idahosa University.


The carnival like and the mother of all reception of guests will hold today at Eghosa Grammar School Play Ground, New Lagos Road,  Benin City starting from 12 noon.


Earlier,  Edo State Governor, His Excellence Godwin Obaseki, his Deputy, Philip Shaibu, have both sent in their condolence letters to the family of Sir Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen.


Aside the Governor and his Deputy other notable Nigerians like the Senator Representing Edo South Senatorial District, Aisagbonriodion Matthew Urhoghide, former Inspector General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, House of Representative Member, Oredo Federal Constituency, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama and a host of other notable Nigerians have also sent in their letters and showed solidarity.

On Sunday 6th October 2019, it will be thanksgiving time, grandchildren and great grandchildren's socials at his residence.
