Xenophobic Attacks! FG Summons South African High Commissioner

The Federal Government has summoned South Africa over the recent xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, reports just coming out of Abuja, the Nigerian capital, said.

"Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama summoned the South African High Commissioner to Nigeria, Bobby Moroe, over the attacks and a meeting is scheduled to hold today," according to a Channels TV report.

Onyema had earlier on Monday vowed the Federal Government would take decisive measures following the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and their businesses in South Africa.

He described the news of the attack as ‘sickening and depressing.’
