Monalisa Chinda, Charles Inojie, Chidi Nwokeabia, Others To Headline Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen Father’s Burial



Nollywood diva Monalisa Chinda, comedian cum actor Charles Inojie, Chidi Nwokeabia and a host of other notable Nollywood practitioners have been lined up to headlined and organize the final burial ceremony of the late father of Africa’s most consistent film maker, Sir Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, Chief  Godwin Enabunlele Enotiemwenowan Imasuen the Ohen Okhuosa of Uruokhsa.

 

The High Chief who died on 3rd of June this year will be laid to rest in a carnival-like burial process that will start on the 3rd to the 6th of october, 2019 in Benin, the Edo State capital.

 

The prolific filmmaker in a statement made available to Today’s Impact said, “Ever since this painful loss, my family members and I have been making arrangements towards his interment.”

 

“I therefore wish to formally announce that the burial process will start on the 3rd to the 6th of October, 2019.”

 

“As my friends/colleagues, my family and I will be greatly honoured by your presence, your support and your prayers at this trying time.”

 

“I have discovered that organising and putting things together is huge. I have therefore made contacts and got the approval of the following men and women to assist me in coordinating friends and colleagues in order to achieve a hitch-free event; Charles Inojie, Uzo Okpechi, Chidi Nwokeabia, Chris Orioha, Queen Egbuson, Alex Egbenyor, MonaLisa chinda, Billy King, Emma Eyaba and Seun.”
