Popular Producer Drills Upcoming Actors, As BFA Kicks Off

As the clock tickles down for the inaugural lecture and induction of students of Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen's Benin Film Academy, the most consistent movie producer has partnered with Emem Isong's Royal Arts Academy.

The multiple award winning producer and director of blockbusters, was at Royal Arts Academy building on recently to pay the students a surprise visit and also take them on the rudiments of acting, directing and script writing. 
Lancelot who is also partnering with the movie school said, this is part of his own way of giving back to the society.
In about two hours intensive lecture, the leading producer told the students that, "aspiration may be useless if purpose is not defined because you cannot give what you don't have."
He equally told them to be always prepared because talent is not enough. According to him, "those who are willing to stand out of the rest are always ready. They. Do what. Others are not willing to do, they observe their environment, they know a little or more about everything. They are always ahead and never relent on their persistence."

Lancelot, whose award winning romantic comedy movie 'ATM' is still topping cinema's viewership chart, partnered with Igbinedion University Okada, Benin City for  his Nollywood Project 101 in January 14, 2017 at the 18th matriculation ceremony of the University which makes the higher institution the first private University in Nigeria to achieve such feat.
The Academy which will be taking off soon with seasoned and talented Nollywood greats like; Desmond Elliot, Kanayo.O.Kanayo, Sani Mu'azu, Victor Okhai,Kabat Eseosa Egbon, Andrew Osawaru, Hyginous Ekwuazi and nollywood diva Omotola Jadade Ekehinde, making the board of this great innovation, the coming together of Lancelot and Emem Isong to project academies in Nollywood is already seen by many as the next great thing to have happened in this millennium.
