Revealed! Why Lyta, Picazo Rhap Dump Olamide’s YBNL

Olamide’s Yahoo Boy No Laptop Nation, YBNL, is gradually crumbling. Weeks after one of his artistes, Lyta dumped YBNL, another heavy blow struck the music family as another YBNL soldier, Omogbolahan Sodiq Ilabode aka Picazo Rhap announced his exit from the record label.

The talented indigenous rapper who was signed by Olamide in the last quarter of 2018 alongside his friend Yomi Blaze, announced he has moved on from Olamide’s music imprint YBNL months after the relationship between Olamide and Picazo have not yielded the expected result.

After emerging the winner of the “Waloda” rap contest hosted by indigenous rapper, Chinko Ekun, there was high expectation on young undergraduate of the department of Mass Communication at the Lagos State University to deliver based on his contract agreement. He is also faced with the challenges of doing well in his academics in school. A tasked which we gathered became unbearable for him to cope with.

After making a viral cover for Chinko Ekun’s song ‘Waloda’ which caught the attention of Baddo, his only noticeable singles were; ‘Macaroni and Raptad’.

Lyta’s case was also similar because, the artiste we also learnt needed an instant breakthrough and transformation. Just when his wishes are not forthcoming at the time needed, he called it quit.
He was signed into YBNL Nation I February 2018 after Olamide was impressed by his musical skills at a music event.

With the exit of these two young talents, YBNL now have Olamide, Djenimoney, Temmie Ovwasa, Davolee, Limerick, Yomi Blaze and Freboy DML.
