Fashion will be redefined this week Saturday 8th December as the 2018 graduating set of Needlekraft Fashion School showcase their project work on the runway at their Lekki Campus.

The program tagged “PROJECT DEFENCE” is a quarterly programme of the academy that provides opportunity and platform for the graduating students to unleash their talents and showcase their creativity/designs to special guests and judges. The participants with the best designs of the day are awarded FREE sewing machines, mannequins by the academy and also stand a chance of getting monetary grants from partner banks/financial institutions to set up their own fashion business.

It is on record that the academy has trained and empowered over 5,000 men and women in various aspect of fashion since inception.
In this edition of the Project Defence, the participants will create, design and showcase Bridals/Wedding Dresses, Kiddies wear, Agbada challenge, Patterns display on the runway, with performances from notable musical artistes and comedians.

This event over the years, has recorded huge participation and attendance by notable personalities and celebrities like Tiwa Savage, Monalisa Chinda, Oge Okoye, Ashionye Raccah, Adunni Ade, Yinka Davies, Oritshe Femi, Denrele Edun, Uti Nwachukwu, Chidi Mokeme, Alex Ekubo, Emeka Ossai, Fredrick Leonard and a host of others.

Needlekraft Fashion Academy is a subsidiary of Needlekraft couture, the foremost and unarguably the most creative fashion house in Nigeria, founded by an ex-beauty queen, model and celebrities’ designer Tese Onokala.
