International Day Of Persons Living With Disability 2018: Vickie Robert Foundation Fetes Vulnerable Children

Vickie Robert Foundation (VRF) Nigeria and United Kingdom, a registered non-governmental and non-for-profit Organization that cares for people living with any form of disabilities as well as Orphans and Vulnerable Children affected or infected by HIV will join the rest of the world  to celebrate this year's International Day of Persons Living with a Disability  2018.

The event themed: "Empowering Persons with Disabilities, Ensuring Inclusiveness and Equality" comes up on Saturday December 1, 2018 at LOGCON Event centre, 5 Femi Kolawole street, Ogudu, GRA Phase 2  by Praiseville Estate Ogudu/Alapere, Lagos at 9 am.

 Aimed at creating care and support through comprehensive integrated services, Vickie Robert Foundation will also engage community involvement to provide blood pressure and sugar monitoring values to various communities of the federation.

In order to meet up with their goals and objectives in shaping the world of these special people, seasoned speakers will grace the event. Some of these speakers are; Tobiloba Ajayi
Inclusion in Nigeria-
challenges  faced by persons living with a disability; Mr. Abidemi Jaiyesimi (Nutrition and Disability) -Top ten diets for Persons living with a disability; Mr. Coker
-It's effect on people living with a  disability.

Others are Greg Simeon; CEO- My Ability Journey; Public/motivational speaker, disability inclusion advocate, Life Coach, Wheelchair Model and Polio Survivor who will be talking on the topic "ABILITY IN DISABILITY
-Subtract the 'Dis' and embrace the Ability for global manifestation.

Children from various care giver Foundations like; Children Development Centre; Pearl Centre Disability Network will be there and perform with a special keyboard presentation; Down Syndrome foundation; Modupe Cole Memorial and Adult person living with disability.

Walking frames donated by TGS NGR and other donated items will be presented to this vulnerable individuals on this day.
