I was just thinking on what more to do with my passion for journalism and a thought occurred to me that i can turn it online. I told my then fiance, (now wife) Folake, and she encouraged me to go get all the necessary apparatus to work it that will solely be for the project. I told a friend and namesake, Gbenga Aladeotan and he said "Gbenga don't buy fairly used laptop ooo. Try and buy new one"
I took his advice and then another friend (Dumkenena Nnamdi) called me that he wanted to give me a wedding gift. lol. He asked me what i needed and because i know he has the knowledge of site building, i told him to build a site for me. Here he asked me if i have a name in sight and i told him he should let me go and consult my God. I told God about it and He said i should wait, that He would speak to me when i least expected and i waited.
I was at a bus stop in Ogba, Lagos, one day when a small still voice was coming into my mind as "Omonaija" i asked what is wrong whit Nigerians and the voice told me, "that is the name you asked for". Immediately i called my friend at the bus stop and told him.
Fast forward, five months later, that has been my name! Omonaija kept growing and growing to the glory of God. Thanks to all that has made this possible. I can't thank you enough...
Your baby, omonaija is 5 months old ooooo
